At Center for Neuroplasticity and Pain (CNAP), Department of Health Science and Technology, the Faculty of Medicine, one or more position(s) as Associate Professor in neuroplasticity and pain is open for appointment from 1 December, 2020 or soon hereafter.

The Associate Professor will teach within the different study programmes at the Department, incl. Medicine, Medicine with Industrial Specialisation, Biomedical Engineering and Informatics, and Pain Science and Multidisciplinary Pain Management.

Who are you?

You are a committed candidate with international research expertise within human experimental pain models or neurophysiological techniques that allows for a better understanding of pain neuroplasticity and with relevant teaching qualifications. Your teaching experience allows you to teach at all levels (BA to PhD) within the study programmes of the Department. You have a PhD (or equivalent) in medicine, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or a related field. It is necessary that you have a high proficiency in oral and written English, as English is our working language.
