The main focus of this position is developing novel epitaxial growth protocols to develop advanced site-controlled quantum dot structures, capable of hosting excitonic Wigner molecule assemblies. The work will include running structural characterization techniques, such as AFM and XRD, as guidance in the development of such structures.
The postdoc position will also involve collaborating with the rest of the EPN group, including growth and structural characterization of more conventional device structure (lasers, modulators, LEDs, etc.), or any other projects such as polycrystalline III-V on foreign substrates.
The successful candidate is also expected to collaborate with the rest of the EPN group on industrial engagement and projects.
The successful candidate is also expected to engage in PhD mentoring and supervision, and also follow Tyndall outreach engagement policies.

The appointment is for one year with the possibility of extension (up to four years), and previous experience in the field is preferentially requested.
