Its main tasks will be focused on the LCA analysis of different energy technologies such as battery systems, renewable energies and advanced materials for energy. For this reason, under the supervision of its responsible, the candidate will be asked to prepared specific questionnaires for inventory data collection, to prepare the model for calculations and results reporting in the appropriate format.
This candidate must have high education qualifications and, if possible, some experience in life cycle assessment (LCA), economic assessment (LCC), advanced and proven knowledge in LCA software (GaBi and Ecoinvent database), applied to the energy sector, energy storage systems for electric vehicles, renewable energies and advanced materials for energy. Capability to work in a team, flexible, innovative, with initiative and problem solving skills. High level of analytical and synthesis skills.
The candidate is expected to provide engineering support for the energy economics aspects of IREC projects integrated as part of the Energy Efficiency in Systems and Communities Research Area.
