A short duration (6months) post-doctoral position is available in the group of Yannick Crémillieux at the Institut des Sciences Moléculaires (UMR CNRS 5255) in Bordeaux, France. The position focus on methodological developments and applications of MRI and MRS for the investigation of metabolism in animal models. Research project are centered on dynamic metabolic investigations using NMR micro-coil detection and delivery of polarized metabolites. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team including biologists, physicists and MRI scientists.
The position is available for PhD candidates with previous experience in biomedical MRI and/or MRS and strong background in physics or engineering. Ideally the candidate will have a previous experience with NMR of hyperpolarized media and/or application of micro-coils.
