Context:

The LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 is a multi-disciplinary laboratory located in Valenciennes, Hautde- France, France. Within the operation VUMOPE from the ELSAT project, a dynamometer has been acquired to assess vehicle fuel consumption under various scenario. Your missions are related to the development of energy management algorithms for hybrid vehicle. This include developing new theoretical tools for optimal control (for instance state constrained or problem with binary or integer control signals) and/or for real time control based on the ECMS framework. This control law will be applied to our hybrid vehicle prototype and assessed on our dynamometer.

Profile:

You have a PhD related to hybrid vehicle energy management. You are used to write scientific papers. You should enjoy working with cars and be looking for a mix of experimental and theoretical work. You should know Matlab programming. Having a prior experience with dSpace systems is considered as a valuable experience. French is NOT needed if you can speak & write English.
