Job description
A postdoctoral position in the senior research group Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry headed by Dr. Radim Nencka is available for a highly motivated and creative scientist with expertise in organic and medicinal chemistry to participate in the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences/NETPHARM.
Our projects are at the forefront of identifying novel kinase and methyltransferase inhibitors as potential treatment for cancer and autoimmune diseases, aiming to make a significant impact in these critical areas of healthcare.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Organic, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field;
- Excellent expertise in organic synthesis and retrosynthetic analysis;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English (proficiency equivalent to a standardized test such as TOEFL or IELTS);
- Laboratory experience in organic synthesis;
- Prior experience with biochemical assays such as fluorescence anisotropy and surface plasmon resonance is advantageous;
- Experience in programming, working with Linux, and familiarity with CADD techniques would be considered advantageous.
