The project is part of a transdisciplinary effort funded by ANR to tind new therapetic approaches to tight infection. During infection of epithelial cells Chlamydia-driven epigenetic modifications occur, that favor bacterial growth. The project aims at identifying drugs counteracting these epigenetic changes, dissecting their mode of action and characterizing their effect on the innate immune response in organoid models of infection.
